• Conduct periodic HSSE risk assessments and highlight the risk observed along with recommended risk mitigation’s.
• Provide required support to the Business Units in addressing the risks related to HSSE.
• Improve the Safety culture and Safety awareness at all levels within the organization.

Job Functions

  • Ensure safe work environment with compliance to ISO and other local safety standards.
  • Conduct periodic Risk Assessment / Safety audits and recommend suitable mitigation plan. Schedule and conduct follow-up Safety Audits and prepare reports.
  • Ensure all accidents and incidents are reported on timely manner and effective corrective / preventive actions are taken after thorough investigation are done on the root cause.
  • Conduct emergency response drills and ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency.
  • Ensure Safety training are conducted for different levels of staff and ensure the training effectiveness.
  • Responsible for preparing weekly and monthly HSE reports, statistics and presentations related to HSE performance.
  • Ensure suitable Security System are maintained at each locations of the company.

Educational Qualification / Training and Experience

  • Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • NEBOSH IGC (International General Certification) in occupational Health and Safety is mandatory
  • Certified advance First aider and Fire fighter
  • ISO 14001/OSHAS 18001 Awareness
  • Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the similar field

Skills and Abilities

  • Thorough knowledge of health, safety and environment legistration.
  • Competent Risk assessor and Qualified HSE Trainer.
  • Multi Lingual preferred.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management system.
  • Computer Skills include command on Microsoft Windows MS Office.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills.
